The Annual Hope & Heroes Walk returns with a new date and a new location! Walk with us on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Pier 45 (West St. & Christopher St., NYC).

Pier 45, Hudson River Park (NYC)
Autumn leaves and the colors of fall are perfect for walking and raising awareness for pediatric cancer and blood disorders and Columbia’s Division of Oncology, Hematology, and Stem Cell Transplantation. Over 1,000 doctors, nurses, patient families, friends, and supporters will unite to celebrate and remember those impacted by these diseases.
The Annual Walk is Hope & Heroes’ major community awareness event, generating more than $2 million over the last ten years. Funds from this event significantly underwrite the Division and support the treatment of current patients, as well as research for better treatments and a cure for tomorrow.
But the Walk is so much more than a fundraising event. It’s a day that brings together our entire community. The true spirit of the day is better understood through our teams and participants. Read their stories or view photos from our past Walks!

On Walk Day, participants can enjoy a range of activities throughout the morning and the afternoon. From face painting to dunk tanks to food stands, there is something for everyone. All participants are encouraged to remain after the event to enjoy the festivities!
Registration is open at hopeandheroeswalk.org. Whether you start a walk team, become a sponsor, or volunteer, we hope you’ll join us as we continue to go the distance for kids with cancer and blood disorders.
